ant5

•

trying to cross

the crack the ant

goes down

•

•

•

mercury drop

the clock loses

another minute

•

•

•

dragging the trash can

I straighten up

for my neighbors

•

•

•

gray dawn

the chickadees harass

the chickens

•

•

•

white chimney smoke

curls up into

mountain clouds

•

•

•

an eggshell

cracked and empty

held up by blades of grass

•

•

•

cherry blossoms

fly from my hood

to my windshield
